How to make Shared Mobility Rock: Guide to the Shared Mobility Galaxy – THE IMPACT OF SHARED MOBILITY

Having difficulty making sense of the complex world of shared mobility? You’re in luck! This year, we published a guide specifically for planners and municipal decision makers to make the galaxy of shared mobility bit easier to understand! The “Shared Mobility Rocks: A Planner’s Guide to the Shared Mobility Galaxy”. This event is part of the webinar series for the book and will cover the topic of the Impact of Various Shared Modes.

Shared mobility is supposed to improve mobility in cities and rural areas, right? But does shared mobility always keep this promise? If so, does this apply for all modes of shared mobility? And how do different shared mobility modes influence each other?

Rebecca Karbaumer from the City of Bremen (DE) will present the most important lessons from the Planner’s Guide to the Shared Mobility Galaxy. Antonia Roberts from CoMoUK will share her main insights with you: CoMoUK has investigated the impact of shared mobility modes for many years now. Starting with carsharing (called car clubs in the UK), they expanded their research to include bikesharing, carpooling (carsharing the UK) and more recently e-scootersharing.

The webinar will be moderated and hosted by Friso Metz (Advier, NL).

The webinar will begin at 11:00 CET on June 24th, 2021.

Registration is already open. Participation is free of charge.
